My mother's great grandfather was Benjamin Beebe and he fought in the Civil War in the Conn. Militia, Eight Regiment Infantry, Company K and was wounded in his right arm at Walthall Junction, Virginia. He was from the Southington, Conn area. Anyone know who his parents were? He was born in 1822 and married Harriet Elizabeth Hammock.
