Thank you Alan for your valuable information concerning this family. My immediate future concerns involving this family are all centered on the year 1906 in Iowa. I am interested in Susan C. KAUFFMAN-BEEBE and her teen-age (1906) daughter Zella BEEBE in that year of 1906. If it can be proved that neither could have given birth to a female child in 1906, then I will no longer have further interest in this family. I am searching for the Mrs. Susannah BEEB (BEEBE?) that claimed to be from Des Moines in November 1906, and further claimed to be the mother of 21 day old Mildred BEEB when she gave her up to adoption by Ira BACON and his wife Florarillia Frances YOUNG-BACON in December 1906. This adoption is of record in the Recorder's Office of Union County, Creston, Iowa, in December 1906. It was executed as a simple contract between the two families. Susan (Susanna) C. KAUFFMAN-BEEBE fits the search profile better than anyone else that I have yet discovered. I have a long shot hunch that teen-age daughter Zella BEEBE could have been tha actual mother of baby Mildred. That's just a theory. It would explain everything. If anyone out there can contribute information on Susan and Zella in 1906, it will be greatfully received. Notify Administrator about this message?
