Susan...thank you for your fast reply about the Beebe Middlesex Co, CT search for the births of the boy and girl Beebe children between 1797 and 1800. I was afraid that perhaps the search hadn't gone well and it seems that is so, at least for now. I do appreciate you talking to the town historian about the births/or baptisms. Either would be fine...as I just want to find out the names for sure. If I understand correctly, Millington does not have a town office that holds their vital records. I wonder if they might have been given to the CT genealogical society or even the New England Historical Society. The most logical would be to dump them with a local entity, such as a local gen/historical society either free standing or a collection housed in a library. I can see where your thought process is going with this. I'm hoping that your town historian either knows what happened to these records or might point us in some possible directions. Since the marriage records from the 1st Millington Church, it's a puzzlement as to what could have happened to the baptism and death records. And, of course, there are still the actual town records. It's hard to believe that both sets of records could have been lost or no one will know what happened to them. Thank you again for tackling this. I have access to census records. If there's anyone you need to find from 1790 to 1930, let me know and I'll give it a try. I have tons of other records for out here in the midwest and further west as well. I'd be glad to check what I have for someone or some record you're missing. Have a wonderful Easter holiday. Julie Bissell Tupker Notify Administrator about this message?
