V. C. Beebe, son of Charles Beebe, was born at Freedom, NY, Feb. 4th, 1851, and is unmarried. He was educated at the district school and at Arcade Academy. He began his business career as a clerk and salesman at the age of eighteen, and a few years later became a member of the firm of Horton & Beebe in the wholesale cheese and butter trade; and, though young, has an enviable reputation among the dairymen of western New York.
