Sue, Thank you for your response. I didn't expect to hear from anybody so soon, especially during the holidays. I do appreciate your offer for help, but if you don't get to it right away, I understand. I do have a little more info that possibly might be of some help. I found some information that the marriage of Gideon Beebe and Delina Rogers was August 1, 1797 at East Haddam, New Haven 2nd Church (page 89). I'm not sure what the 89 refers to, ...whether it is to a church book or a town record perhaps. There is also another reference to their marriage on the same date referring to "Millington Society", East Haddam, Middlesex, CT. Supposedly, a son, Bruce, was born about 1798 in CT and another son, Titus was born either 1799 or 1801, also in CT. Since we know that a daughter had to fit into there somewhere before 1800, it makes more sense that Titus was born 1801, but Delina could have had three babies in rapid fire succession and had them all just before 1800, so Titus and whoever the girl is, could have either one been the 2nd born. Another son, John C was also supposedly born about 1802-3 in CT. After that, the kids were born in PA. Again, thank you so much for offering to help. I've researched this Beebe family for years, knowing somehow they were closely associated with our family, but not just how. They may still not turn out to be blood relatives, but it's a stone we must look under and decide for sure if there's merit to go any further. With the name of the daughter, we may more easily find a reference to her out in Wilkes Barre, PA where she disappears after the 1810 census. Notify Administrator about this message?
