About a year or so ago my family found a long-lost family Bible on eBay and was able to get it back into our family. It is probably my family's most-treasured possessions. So from time to time, I look on eBay to see whether another of our family's treasures is up for bid. Sometimes, I look for the families of other Bibles that are up for sale. This time I located one that belongs in the family of the names I listed in the subject line. Here is the link if you choose to click directly on it: http://cgi.ebay.com/FAMILY-BIBLE-1822-W-HISTORY-4-FAMILYS-1801-1940_W0QQitemZ190098792982QQihZ009QQcategoryZ29223QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem If you'd rather look for it on your own, here is the item number: 190098792982. The sale ends April 8, 2007, before 6:30 Pacific Time. At this time, 2 persons are bidding on it and the bid is up to $10.49, with $8.20 shipping. I'm sure that it will go much higher, as family Bibles usually do. If you choose to bid on it or have another family member bid on it, do not tell the seller that you are a descendant of the people listed in the Bible. The price of the Bible can get pretty high sometimes. My family's Bible went for more than $500. We worry that it was because my sister e-mailed the seller that we were related to the persons in the Bible. The bidding got pretty fierce at the end of the sale. I wish you luck if you decide that you want to get the Bible. Notify Administrator about this message?
