I am related to Rose Ellen Beebe McWhirter Duncan.
Her parents were George Washington Beebe and Mary Jane (Molly) Dixon. Her brothers and sisters were as follows:
Mathilda, Clyde, Clarence Edward, Silva, Eldora (Aunt Dora), Acy, Frank, Ida, Luther and George Clova Beebe.
Silva married John William Laster. Acy married Cynthia Gooden, Frank married Nattie H. Warner or Varner, and George Clova married Clara Ennis. After that the family tree branches out tremendously but am glad to share that in another email!
Rose Ellen Beebe first married John Vinson McWhirter and had Dettie Ann. Then Rose remarried to Ed Duncan and had Barbara Ellen and Emma Viola and George Obelra (Obie) Duncan.
Rose Ellen's daughter Dettie married Jessie Henson Barnett. Obie married Stella Halleman, Barbara married Orval Simmons and Emma married Arthur Davidson.
