Hi Sharon,
"Ebenezer L. BEEBE of Dorset, Bennington County, Vermont, enlisted in Civil War, 5th Regiment, Company E, Aug. 25, 1862, mustered in Sept. 16, 1861, and died 21 Jan. 1862 of disease."
