Thanks Alan.

I am of Pascal's line, remember? I am slowly accumulating circumstantial evidence that Lucy was Lucy Sanderson, not Sanders. Lucy and Brace Jones were buried in the Jones Cemetery, Huron County, Ohio, and Pascal was buried there also. Brace Jones married a Lucy Sanderson Beebe in 1819, in Windsor County, VT.(Per the bio of Lucian Jones, Brace Jones' son from his first marriage) The data on Lucy's tombstone matches the date of birth given for a Lucy, daughter of a John Sanderson and Elinor (No last name).

A James Sanderson, who seems to have been a cousin of Lucy's, is also buried in the same cemetery. A Joel Sanderson, who apparently was the son of that James, was living in Sherman Township in an early census (I don't have my notes in front of me at the moment, but I *think* it was the 1840.)

It is possible that those Sandersons just happened to move to Huron with Brace and Lucy, so I am hoping to find someone who descends from Josiah. Josiah's descendents might have information about Josiah Baldwin Beebe's first marriage that I haven't yet located. I do think that the Josiah in 1840 Ohio, and the Pascal in 1840 Windsor County, VT were brothers, sons of Josiah Baldwin and Lucy Sanderson Beebe. I also think there was a younger Lucy, sister to Josiah and Pascal, but I don't have much to connect her to this family yet. I am working on it! I will let you know what I find, once I have something to either confirm or ruin my hypotheses.

Valerie
