Good morning: I agree with your response - I have always felt that either Beebe copied Cutter or vice versa, whoever came first. Many times, for many families, I have seen unproven/incorrect information used over and over that had to have come from Cutter. I have been hoping that perhaps someone has accessed the probate records in Hartford to see if there is anything further on the date of death for John Beebe - this is something I have had on my to do list, but not being near a FHL presents a problem.
I searched the few listings for the Speedwell on another web-site and there were none shown for the year that we need for John Beebe; if there are others elsewhere, it would be nice to know where to find them.
