New at this. Checking through the sites, not finding a connection. My husband's grandfather and uncle did a lot of manual research over the years and this is some of what they have: John & Ruth Pratt Beebe of Colchester, CT Martin Beebe moved from Amenia, NY with his family and settled in New Concord NY in 1764... wife's name is not known. Martin Beebe was first clerk of the King's District. He was also town supervisor in 1774, 75, 81 and 82. During the Revolution, he was a major in the 17th regiment, Albany County Militia, fought at the Battle of Saratoga and was present at Burgoyne's surrender in 1777. He died in 1783. It is not known how many children he had, but one was Daniel: Daniel Beebe b. 1770 m. Sarah Brown b. 1773; eleven children, one of whom was Calvin: Calvin Eaton Beebe b. 1805 m. 1827 Prudence Starks b. 1807; 7 children, oldest was Lineus: Lineus Dwight Beebe b. 1828, m. 1853 Mary Caswell Blinn b. 1827; Their children: Myra, Nellie, Alfred and *Emma: *Emma Augusta Beebe b. 1867 m. 1890 Charles Milton Schilling The list continues for those who are interested.
