Steve, thank you for your response. I too believe that cancer is not a death sentence and that environment as well as personal outlook have a great deal of bearing on the course. Sadly for my brother, his cancer has spread to his spine and throughout his lymph system. He is a fighter though, at this time there are no further treatment simply comfort care. We did grow up in the shadow of Amoco oil and Keil chemical, I thought the morning "haze" was simply that and not pollution. His love for the sun did not help, nor did the fact that he was and is a smoker. I have watched a number of the PBS shows, what are some of the titles of the segments you assisted with research? Where were the studies concentrated? Thanks again for the reply and for the sound words of advice.
