Helen, also trouble with my e-mail, I need to get it fixed but it will be tomorrow? Mariah"s, father,Thomas Bee, in the 1850 census,is listed as 43,yrs old but he is only 33, because he enlisted in army at age 43, at Brownsville Pa. a place I know fairly well as I grew up near there, thought he was born in Scottland, but born here in U.S. He was captured and sent to Americus Georgia, {Andersonville} April 16, 1864, where he died in a few hours, no wonder he spent most of his time in hospital, suffering from dysentary, than he did fighting in the war.Buried in grave,no.576. I have been trying to find out what happend to Sophia, and the children, will have to make trip to my local college, where I can find census for 1870, for Fayette County, Pa. I know Rachel married in 1871. Who did Mariah marry, and when? We will talk soon one way or another.Thank You!!! Phyllis.
