Yes, it flows nicely. But proof? You could carry it further by saying that Joseph's will was dated 6 Feb 1792 and he stated that the children were underage [born after 1771] but that William and John Sandiford would be executors when of age. It was proved 1 Mar 1792 - did they sign as executors then? or later? The original will or the probate might tell us when they signed & we would know when he was of age. I have an ancestor who went to Alabama around that same time and who died in Alabama - not in Mobile but in Cahawba. I have found Alabama records about that ancestor - maybe John S. Bee left some footprints there too! And you say that Harriet was a daughter? who married a Simmons & had a child but lost the husband. Interesting. Do you know what happened to her? Is there any meaning to the fact that both John S & Harriet named a daughter Julia? You really have a fun study! Are you located in SC?
