On the Connecticut 1870 census, Patrick Bee, son of Thomas and Ellen Bee, is listed as being born in South Carolina. All other family members within that census are born either Ireland or Connecticut.

Is there a source to verify Thomas (age 45 in 1870), Ellen (age 38 in 1870) and Patrick (age 18 in 1870) were in South Carolina during the early 1850's?
