Hi Bev, I am interested in Bees from this area after finding a possible christening for one of my 5*gt grandfathers: Richard Topping chr 15.12.1765 at Goosnargh. His parents were John Topping and probably Jennet Bee who married in 1762. Jennet's father was Thomas Bee who married Jennet Martin in 1720 at Walton-le-Dale. Thier family were chr. at Penwortham - Jennet's home but I suspect Thomas came from Garstang and was born about 1690-1700. A possible Thomas was chr. in 1693 at Garstang - father John. There are 2 marriages of John in 1680 on the IGI - do you have full details of these? Also any comments as to possible links for John would be appreciated. Do you know whether any of these putative ancestors died young especially Thomas chr. 1693?
