According to the 1850 census in Limestone Co., Al, Oliver C. Bee was not the father of John Henry. He had a John P.

The Mary Elizabeth Bee mentioned by Sue was the dht of Oliver. Oliver was 50 yrs of age on the 1860 census in Giles Co. He had a mong other ch, Richard Asbury inc., Nancy E. who married John Gideon Haney, who div. her in Limestone Co., Al in 1866-67. Have court records.

Oliver was in Ms. for the 1850 census. His wife & mother of his oldest children was Jane W. ? , born ca 1802 in Va. According to this cen., all his ch. were born in AL

I have some court records for him in Limestone Co. in 1820.
