Jennifer,
You could probably be right about Daniel Smith as being Nancy Smith Bedwell's brother. William Bedwell was a brother to James Bedwell, Jr.. They were sons of James Bedwell, Sr.. James,Jr. was married to my GGG grandmother's sister, Lucy Grimes. Mary Ann Grimes (Isham) Brown of Simpson Co., MS. was my GGG grandmother.
