Sarah Alice Bedwell and her father were part Cherokee Indian and applied for lands in Oklahoma. Sarah was born abt. 1862 in Tennessee. Her father Jess, was born abt 1817.
Sarah married a Wm. Burton Guffey of McMinn Co. about 1886
