I am the g2grandson of Vashti Bedwell (1811-1864) and George Carter (1815-1883) who were married at Farmer, Sussex 1839. They came to Australia in 1853 with their family two girls - Naomi and Vashti.

Vashti was the daughter of John and Ann Bedwell and George was the son of Harry Carter and Mary Gowing.

Would like to get in touch to obtain more information on the Bedwell - Have a deal of material on decendants in Australia for exchange
