Roger,
The John BEDSAUL who married Delilah CARRICO, was the son of Elisha BEDSAUL, Jr., and Elisha BEDSAUL, Jr. was the brother to my 4th gr grandfather, Daniel BEDSAUL. Daniel was the father of John Lowry BEDSAUL.
A few years ago, Woodrow Wilson BEDSAUL, corresponded with me, and gave me information regarding the surname. It was of German origin, and although the BEDSAULS were known in our family as, "Pennsylvania Dutch",it appears they were German, although I have not traced them that far back. I have an enormous amount of BEDSUAL information and will be happy to share, if you will contact me at: jmayfield@jps.net
