I've just begun to look up several family names. I have no details about my grandfather Marshall Bedsaul other than, he died in Webb City, MO in 1964. He had been married once, prior to my grandmother, and had a son named David who lived in or around Springfield, Mo. I once mentioned the name Bedsaul to a woman who was a recent German emigree, and she stated that she hadn't realized that I was Jewish. Neither did I, but I'm curious to find out the origin of this name. Any suggestions for how to begin would be appreciated. Thanks!
