BEDSAUL/BEDSOLE/BLEDSOE

Anyone besides me think that somewhere back there Bedsaul and Bedsole were one and the same? I already know not many people then could read, write, nor spell. Also, many of them periodically allowed their last names to be changed, with or without their own knowledge. My own G-Grandpa Travis Bedsole, lived for 14 years as Travis Bledsau. Also, I already know that a John Bedsole was a John Bedsaul while he lived in New Jersey, before moving to NC, about 1720-30.Also, several Bedsole's converted to Bledsoe's (Probably the easiest thing to do, since everybody calls you Bledsoe, even though you are Bedsole). If you know anything, please e-mail me directly JBeds@aol.com
