My great-great grandparents were Frank & Rosalie BEDNAR TOMASEK. They arrived in Baltimore from Bremen in 1880 and lived on Chapel St.

Baptism certificates of their children show that Frank & Rosalie were from Klikov, Bohemia (close to the Austrian border). Several of the certificates show the God-parents as Frank & Teresa BEDNAR. On 2 of them, the God-parents are Christopher & Rosalie ROCHLIC. I obtained these certificates from St. Wenceslaus Church on Ashland St. in Baltimore.

Since the TOMASEKS children changed their names to THOMAS, they have been hard to trace.

I'm trying to find out if Frank BEDNAR may have been the brother of my great-great grandmother.

If you have any further info or think we have a connection, please email me.
