Abraham B. Dillion (b. 5 Oct 1835, Logan Co, OH; d. 10 Aug 1897, Rose Hill, IA) is my gggrandfather.With the help of a cousin I was recently able to make the connection to Isaac Bedillion of Logan County, OH (Isaac's son Samuel B.Dillion was Abraham's father and moved with him to Iowa).
As a side note, Abraham B. Dillon of Rose Hill married Mary Elizabeth Swearingen, the older sister of Al Swearingen of Deadwood, Dakota Territory (featured in a recent HBO television series).

Last Will & Testament of Isaac B Dillon
Be it remembered that herefore to wit at a Court of Common Pleas begun and held in town of Bellefontaine in the County of Logan and State of Ohio on the 3d day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and twenty seven. Present the honorable Joseph H Crane president judge of our said Court here and Levi Garwood, James McPhereson and Robert Smith, Esquire his associates [Raphael Moore – Sheriff; Samuel Newell – Clerk]
The Last will and testament of Abraham B Dillon, Deceased was produced by Abram Bedillan Executor of said will, and Legally proven by John Garwood, the said Joseph Curl and Henry Seaman the subscribing witnesses as per deposition on file. When John Garwood, one of the Executors named in said will, appeared in open Court and refused to take upon him the burden of Executors in said Deceased’s Estate. When Abraham Bedillin, the other Executor named in said Will appeared in open Court, and took upon him the Executorship of said Will, which was ordered by said Court to put upon Record.
Let it be Recorded that the twenty third day of March, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Four, that I, Isaac Bedillin of Zane township, Logan County and State of Ohio, Considering the uncertainty of this mortal Life and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, and being at the time of sound and disposing mind and memory, Thanks be given to the Almightly therefore, and for the settling of peace thereafter in my family, Do make, Execute and publish this my Last will and Testament in manner and form as followith (to wit):
I first order [illegible, usually a request to pay burial expenses] together with my just debts and Lawful claims that may come against my Estate after my decease shall be reasonably attended to and punctually paid. Secondly, I do give and bequeath to my beloved wife Osilla Bedillan all my Real and personal property, during her natural life that I hold in the State of Ohio, which will include my home place or plantation where I now reside together with household furniture, stock farming articles &C. Thirdly, I do give and bequeath to my son Abraham Bedillin after the decease of my beloved wife the same property, both Real and personal, provide there may be any left, or what may remain after decease to be his and his heirs forever provided that my son Abraham Bedillion Shall pay to my son Frederick Bedillin twenty five dollars out of the same.Fourthly, I do give and bequeath my silver watch to my Grandson David Row Bedillin after he arrives to the age of twenty one years old. And whereas I have same money in the State of New Jersey, and County and township of Gloucester in the Land of Isaac Collins [Jus. P?] I therefore do give and bequeath the same to my son Frederick Bedillin, and two my grandsons, namely Isaac Bedillin and Benjamin Bedillin to be equally divided between the three.
Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Abraham Bedillin and John Garwood my lawful Executors to this my last will and testament. Ratifying this and no other to be my last will and testament, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date first above written.
