On the 1880 Anderson Co, Texas census there are 2 stepchildren: Elizabeth Bedgood age 10 b TX and Johnny Bedgood age 8, born TX. Mother Elizabeth 23, has remarried to a S.T. Simmons. Census states mother is born in LA, and her parents in SC and AR. Does anyone know who she is and to which Bedgood she was married before?
