Becky made a slight error on the lineage for my John HANFORD (not Handford) BEDGOOD, s/o Eli BEDGOOD, s/o the JOHN BEDGOOD of Washington Co., GA.
Who out there can actually show any kind of documentation of the 2 marriages for old John of Georgia? Some say he was married first to Mary GLOVER and 2nd to MARY WHITE. Mary WHITE is supposedly the mother of my ELI BEDGOOD. If I can't find any kind of substantial record for these two marriages then I don't feel comfortable putting it in my records. I'm not a "doubting Thomas" but who was the Alvin Bedgood and Robert Crank who passed this around? Are they both deceased??
