Carla: These are the Bedgoods that was in Washington County Ga 1820: Alexander, John, John Jr. Richard and Samuel. Alexander was 45 or over with 1 male 10-16 years 2 fem 0-10 years 1 fem 10-16 years 1 fem 26-45 and 4 slaves. John Bedgood, Jr. 45 up 1 male 16-26, 1 fem 16-26 and 1 fem 45 up. Samuel bedgood 26-45, 4 male 0-10 years 1 fem 26-45. John Bedgood 45 up 3 males 0-10 1 fem 0-10 1fem 10-16 and 1 fem 45 up. By 1830 Alexander was gone as was one of the Johns. The other John was still there in 1830 by 1840 he was gone and shows a Mary that was possibly his wife. I don't have access to the 1830 census for Butler County. So I don't know if john and Alexander went to Butler County Or where. Hope that this will help in some way. I know that there are bedgood's here in La. I came across some cemetery listings for some Bedgoods in Beinville Parish. Best Regards S. L. Manning
