I have dau of wiliam drake and and Asenath Swain as Elizabeth b 1811 in NJ and Nelson b 1817 in new jersey.

Elizabeth married William Efner prior to 1834, 8 children b in Independence, Warren Cty (girls are Margaret Ann, Martha e and Sarah) and son John B. Effner, who is my gggrandfather. He was married 3 times, one in PA, wife and 3 kids died in flood, Harriet (mother is Mary Eliz Kaylor), is the only survivor. In Will County IL after the Civil WAr, in 1870 John Effner married Mrs. Minerva Chamberlain and had a daughter Elizabeth (Bedford, I think) . She was my ggrandmother and I knew her, have her photo album, memorabilia. His third wife was Nancy Hart by whom he had more children. My Dad worked for one of their kids, as did my grandfather (he was the "asparagus kind of Illinois" Jack (John B, JR.)

This branch of the family relocated to Channahon, Will County, IL

tons of photos with no identifying information on the back...
