Stephen Bedford's father was Thomas.He came to Virginia from England when he was very small. For this act, his parents disinherited him. This info is from page 47 of a Monroe County, KY history. There is an article by R S Cole, entitled "Three Bedford Brothers." It is in a series on Early Bourbon Families, sponsored by the Jemima Johnson Chapter, DAR. I think I found it in a private library in Paris,KY. My gggggrandmother was Nancy Bedford,daughter of Benjamin>Thomas>Stephen>Thomas. Irene
