I am the wife of Michael Charles HETZLER who is the son of Shari Lyn BEDFORD, the daughter of Lee Allen BEDFORD, the son of Lowell Allen Bedford, the son of Lee Archie BEDFORD and Ethel Edvina THOMASSON who was his second wife.
I am interested in any information you have about Lee Archie and his father, and so on. I have an 1880 Parker County, Texas Census that lists a WM. G. Bedford married to a Sarah E., with children Archie, Cordelia, James, Dovie, and Maudy. I had assumed that the WM stood for William and was told the G. stood for Gordon. Also others have said that William Gordon was the some of James Madison BEDFORD and the father of Lee Archie.
I am really interested in the fact that you said his name was Willis. Can you share with me how you found that out? That could change a lot of things since I am having other problems with this line like his sister (Sintha) being born 3 months before him and such.
