Hillory Green Bedford b Mt Eden,Ky, 9 Nov 1840,m Wise Co.., Tex 11 Feb 1865 to Frances Elizabeth Browder,b Slaughtersville,Ky 7 Jan 1843,d 10 Nov 1923, dau of Charles Isom Browder and Penelope Winstead. He served for 4 yrs in the Confederate Army as a member of Co.A,Buford Regt.,18th Cav. He was an early resident of Tx. and one of the organizers of the Texas Cattle Raisers Assoc. He was for many years a minister of the Christian Church. He went to Tx in 1850 and res for 40 yrs in Knox Co. where he d 10 Aug 1927.
