I disagree, that Joseph would be the Joseph you are looking for in the 1850 Hamilton co, OH census. That Joseph was age 45, Mary only 29, so hardly the mother. Mary's husband Erastus had a sister Mary Ann, but I didn't find her in the 1850 Census for OH. Mary Ann was born ca 1814, married John Hood in 1833 Indiana. She may never have been in Ohio. I hope this helps in some way.
