Charlotte, VA (Charles City) marriage records show Diggs BUMPASS m. Frances BEDFORD 20 Jun 1774. Quoting from "MAGAZINE OF VA GENEALOGY, VOL 25, #3, pg. 17": Charlotte Order Book 4 (1774-1780), Diggs BUMPASS appointed guardian to Sarah, Francis, and Betsey Fliping BEDFORD, orphans of Stephen BEDFORD. 7 Nov 1774. p. 59, 60."

Quoting from 'MAGAZINE OF VA GENEALOGY, VOL 25, #4, pg. 17": "Robert BEDFORD appointed guardian to Nancy BUMPASS, orphan of Diggs BUMPASS. 4 Dec 1780. p. 5,6." Seeking info on this BUMPASS family.
