With every respect to Gary, I thought it may be helpful to add to details on a Beddows coat of arms.
There is no Coat of Arms officially registered with the College of Arms as far as I know; however Joseph Morris a genealogist of the late 1800s gives a description of the Coat of Arms of the Beddoes of (Church) Stretton, Sropshire, as follows:
BEDDOES of STRETTON
Arms: Quarterly 1st & 4th Gules (red) a lion rampant regardant (i.e. looking backwards over his shoulder) Or (gold); 2nd & 3rd Argent (silver) three boars heads couped Sable (black).
Crest: a Lion rampant reguardant Or
Burke's General Armoury records a coat of arms for the Beddoes of Cheney Longville:
Beddoes:-
(Cheney Longville Co. Salop)
Descended from Elstan Glodrydd, Lord of the district extending from the Severn to the Wye, who was godson of Athelstan “Wallice, Elystan”, King of the Saxons. Quarterly, first and fourth gu a lion ramp. reguard. or; second and third, ar. threee boars heads, two and one, couped sa.
Hope that helps.
