Good evening,
If you type "Skagit" (for Skagit Valley, Washington State)you will find some connected posts.
See message #400 posted on January 25, 2002 by Watt Fields Espey he mentions the Mohawk connection. (He would also be your cousin).
My Great-Great Aunt Evelyn married a BECRAFT who was a descendent of THOMAS BECRAFT born about 1821 and first marriage to Francis Conrad Becraft. His father was Ray Becraft the 1st who descends from the marriage of THOMAS BECRAFT b. 1821 and Francis Conrad Becraft. Ray Becraft would be your Gr-gr-gr- however far it goes...Grandfather. He was married to a Minerva Elliot. (Her family is traced back to King Philips war-see Eric Nelson genealogy page-that page also has your Becraft group)
My Great-Grandmother married a TERWILLIGER and his mother was Marie Elizabeth daughter of Kathyrn/Catherine Grey/Headland/Becraft/Pruitt from her first marriage to Thomas Headland. Kathryn/Catherine Grey/Headland/Becraft/Pruitt married your ancestor THOMAS BECRAFT born 1821 and they had also had children together.
Thomas Becraft born 1821 in Pennsylvania had about 15 children.
First wife-Francis Conrad Becraft (your line).
Second wife-Kathryn Grey/Headland/Becraft/Pruitt (mine).
You are welcome to e-mail me...
Regards,
