Does anyone know if the James Milliken who married Nancy Becraft Oct 21, 1866 in Davis Co., IA was James Patten Milliken, son of Elias Milliken.
Nancy was the daughter of William Franklin and Katherine Kronk (Lawrence) Becraft. She was born November 29, 1846 in Ripley Co., IN and moved with her parents to Davis Co., IA as a young child. She died January 5, 1868, barely a year after marrying James Milliken.
In the 1870 census James P. Milliken is there with his new bride, Mary, age 16, living next to his father, Elias Milliken. James Patten Milliken was born 1844 in IN so would be right age to have married Nancy Becraft.
I would just like some kind of confirmation before I loop this family around one more time.
