Did you know there is a Beckwith Newsletter? That is the best place to find verified info. on the Beckwith family. I would also suggest that you visit the Family History Center at your closest Mormon Church. You do not need to be a Mormon to use their extensive collection of genealogy records. BUT it is very important that you verify ALL info. you get there as some researchers are very sloppy in collecting data. The people at the church will not try to convert you! They are not allowed to ever talk about their religion in the Family History room, unless of course someone asks about it. They have all the proper forms that you will need to put your research results on. It is important to note where ALL your info. was found so other people can check to see that you have put down the right info..

If not I would give that site a try. The McDaniel line was actually McDonnell to start with. They were supposedly from Scotland, removed to Antrim, Co. Antrim, Ireland.
