There is no James Beckwith in the Census of 1850 of Lyme, Ct. If born in 1835 he would have been listed with Edgecomb. If born ca. 1825 could have been off on his own. I have not checked Waterford, CT 1850 Census. Just click on my name for my e-mail address. Virgil Huntley P. S Edgecomb had a son, Samuel, born ca. 1845.
