Looking for James A. Beckwith born circa 1825 in Waterford, New London Co., CT. He died 1898 in Lynn, Essex Co., MA. He married Mary Ellen Mc Keown an immigrant from Ireland b. 1850 in Ireland. She died 1913 in Lynn, Essex Co., MA. James and Mary Ellen Mc Keown Beckwith had six children, one dying in infancy (a twin). Have not been able to locate this Beckwith in CT birth records. Need to establish who his parents were if possible. Do not have the place or date of the marriage of James and Mary Ellen, altho their first child was born in Norwalk, CT in 1868. All help will be appreciated. Thanks.
