Parents of Dyer Beckwith were:

Ezekiel is buried in the Ancient Burial Ground, Colchester, CT- b. abt 1753 and
died Mar 16, 1818.
His parents were:\
NATHAN BECKWITH and Sarah. Nathan was born Dec 7, 1728, East Haddam, CT.
His parents were:
JOB BECKWITH and Mary Briggs/Biggs-
Job was born May 22, 1705, East Haddam CT and died Dec 15 1780.
His parents were:
NATHANIEL BECKWITH and Sarah
Nathaniel was born May 28, 1671, in New London CT; died Mar 17, 1716/17 in East Haddam CT.
His parents were:
NATHANIEL BECKWITH and Martha.
Nathaniel was born June 1642, in New London,CT; died abt Jan 1725/26 in New London.
His parents were:
MATHEW BECKWITH and Mary.
Mathew was born Sept 22, 1610, in Ponteferact, Yorkshire, England; died Dec 13, 1681, in Lyme/Saybrook, CT.

Mathew emigrated to New England in 1635, residing for a short time at Saybrook Point 1635, Branford 1638, among first settlers of Hartford in 1642, Lyme in 1651.Mould and Art ship builders constructed especially for him the barque ENDEAVOR, which was the first vessel launched fromNew London, and traded with the Barbadoes. She was sold at Barbadoes in 1666 for a cargo of sugar. Mathew was one of that class known as planters, many of whomwere men of means, who placed their vessels in thecharge of competent mariners, who also attended to the mercantile transactions and interests of the owners. Mathew's death in December 1681 "..being sudden, and being the result of an accident, a jury was summoned, who gave their verdict, that he came to his death by mistaking his way of a dark night and falling froma cliff of rocks." He left an estate valued at 393 pounds ($1,975).

Marmaduke was born 1559-1588 in Bramhope, Yorkshire, England. (Interesting: William Beckwith, the second son of Marmaduke, emigrated to America in 1607, landing at Jamestown, VA, with Captain John Smith from the ship "PHOENIX").

Hamon was living in the 12th yr of Edward III (1339); proved Lordship of Clint with Malebisse coat of arms.
His father was NICHOLAS BECKWITH
His father was SIR HERCULES BECKWITH
His father was SIR HERCULES DE MALEBISSE
Sir Hercules de Malebisse agreed to change his name to BECKWITH to preserve the BECKWITH name. He was the Lord of Uglebarby. He married LADY DAME BECKWITH BRUCE.

His parents were:
SIR HUGO DEMALEBISSE and Emma De Percy. Sir Hugo was still living in 1138.He became the Lord of Knyveton and his brother became the first Prior.
