Look at the dates you have for grace Beckwith dau. of Marmaduke and the dates of William Lucas..There is no way... Grace beckwith that married William Lucas was b. abt. 1630-35, m. 1674, children b.
1.        Elizabeth LUCAS b: ABT 1659
2.        Ann Gray LUCAS b: ABT 1660
3.        Grace LUCAS b: ABT 1662
4.        Hannah LUCAS b: ABT 1671 in Surry County, Virginia
5.        Martha LUCAS b: ABT 1666
6.        William LUCAS b: 1688
7.        Charles LUCAS b: 1700

Sir Marmaduke beckwith was born 1687(well documented) and married maudlin Creed in VA in his 50's. Maudlin was near or younger in age than Grace Beckwith Lucas.
There was a Jarrett Beckwith that arrived in VA in 1636. He MIGHT be related to marmaduke but it would be a great uncle out of Marmadukes grandfather, Arthur Beckwith.
I never saw mention of the name Grace in Marmadukes will.
Maybe there was a another Grace beckwith that married Johnson BUT their children were even older than the Lucas children!!!
