Dyer Beckwith had two sons, David O and Benjamin, who married (David O to Anna Bartholomew and Benjamin to Miranda Burt) and each had a daughter named CLARISSA born around 1842/43 in New York (prob. Whitehall, Washington, NY.) To confuse matters more, BOTH Clarissas married men by the name of FISH. I need help/facts to straighten out WHICH Clarissa married HARRISON FISH and WHICH Clarissa married FRANCES E FISH! The old Bartholomew book online states Anna Bartholomew married David Beckwith (son of Dyer) and their daughter, Clarissa, married HARRISON FISH, JR. of Whitehall. Most records posted by individuals online state that Clarissa married Francis E Fish. Does anyone researching these families have evidence showing which CLARISSA married which FISH???? THANKS!!!
