Looking for information to connect Elisha Beckwith Manwaring to the Beckwith family. He was born 30 June 1800 in New London, Conn to parents Nathanial Manwaring and Annie Morgan. He married Rhoda Pixley in 1820 in New York.
Since it was common to use a family surname for a middle name my theory is that he is related to the Beckwith family, but I have not been able to find any information to support this theory.
