Grace Beckwith b. abt 1580 who married Francis Wright of Bolton-on-Swale, Co. York, England [son of Francis Wright of Sowerby. Co. York who m. sister of Henry Markham] was indeed the dau of Roger Beckwith of Northcot and Aldborough, Co. York WD 18 Mar 1633; WP 19 Jan 1634 who married (1) 22 Jun 1578 at Featherstone Dorothy Currer of Leeds, Co. York. The only son of Roger Beckwith and Dorothy Currer:

George Meryton, Dean of York and Mary Randes, dau of Thomas Randes of Nettleham, Co. Lincoln d. 17 Feb 1608-9 [son of the Rev. Henry Randes, D.D. Bishop of Lincoln m. Joan Mannett] who m. Mary Yorke d. 27 Feb 1596; bur. Lincoln Cathedral, dau of Thomas Yorke of Ashby de la Launde, Co. Lincoln d. 7 Sep 1574 m. Mary Sutton, dau of HAMON Sutton of Washingborough, Co. Lincoln [WP 2 Mar 1556-71] m. Emlyn Disney [WP 5 Jan 1557-8] dau of Richard Disney of Fulbeck.
The Rev. Francis Wright and Anne Meryton had 6 sons, two daus. The only son who has been PROVEN to have immigrated to Virginia was Richard Wright b. 1633 Bolton-on-Swale, Co. York; d. 1663 at Chicacoan, Northumberland Co. VA who m. 1656 Ann Mottrom, dau of Col. John Mottrom of Chicacoan.
