Pat...you probably already have this but I checked my census extractions and found:

1850 NY Tompkins Co. Newfield p327 657-661
Elisha 57 CT
Ann 57 NJ
Anson 22 NY
Lucy C. 20 PA
John H. 18 PA
Washington S. 14 PA
George B. 12 NY

1840 NY Tompkins Co. Enfield p307
Elisha 1220101-00100001

1830 PA Wayne Co. Canaan Twp. p168
Elisha 11101-10001
(this is the only Elisha in PA in 1830- age doesn't match from 1840-50 censuses)

Not necessarily a relative, in 1830 and 1820 in Wayne Co. PA is a Jedediah BECKWITH. In 1820 he is on Canaan Twp. p53 (100010-10010) and in 1830 he is the Borough of Bethany p196 (0010001-0010001). If Elisha is he of Wayne Co. PA in 1830, and if the age on census was reported incorrectly (should be age 30-40 instead of 20-30), then perhaps Elisha and Jedediah are siblings? A long shot, but what the heck! Hope this helps....Mahlon Erickson
