Phineas Beckwith and Richard Waite served in the NY militia on Long Island in the Fr-Indian War. Phineas married Phebe Waite daughter of Richard & Elizabeth Waite. Phebe died in Oct 1791 and Phineas died 30 June 1823 aged 81. Phebe Waite was born 31 Sept., 1734 I am sure the person who recorded the baptisms made a mistake when he named the mother as Sarah.
