Who is Capt. Samuel H. Beckwith who unveiled the statue to Gen. Ely Spencer Parker in Buffalo, NY in 1905? Col. Parker was a descendant of Red Jacket and Gen. U. S. Grant's secretary @ Appamatox. A speech by Capt. Beckwith was read on account of his poor eyesight. Regards, Virgil Huntley
