Homer Jason Beckwith was b. 26 Oct 1858 which would explain why he is not included in 1850 census. I have from family tradition that his mother's name was Rachel and that his siblings were Orrin, EMMERETTE, ADELINE, and Minerva. Not perfect - but close enough to make a believer out of me! I would really love to see what you have on the ancestry of Hoel Beckwith. And, THANKS!!!
