Apparently Manasseh Beckwith was from Waterford, New London Co. CT

2 jan 1833- Recieved of Josiah Isham administrator of estate in Ct of Manasseh Beckwith late of Louisville KY...Galvin Goddard attorney to the administrators at Louisville and to Jacob Beckwith guardian to his children at Louisville...
Will of Jacob Beckwith dated 3 Jan 1854
Jacob Beckwith formerly of Louisville KY recently of Waterford CT, to:
- Sarah D. Maynard (sister)
- Emily Darrow, Isaac N. Maynard, Maria Towne, Jacob B. Maynard, Elisha P. Rogers, Francis D. Rogers, Angenard Loomis, Nicholas Beckwith and John Cavarly (nephews and nieces)
- Mary Ann Copp, Caroline Wales and Charles Beckwith (children of my brother Manasseh Beckwith)
This will was published and proven and inventory of estate taken 17 May 1854 with sister Sarah D. Maynard as execurtx. Inventory was taken by Rob. Coit and Joshua C. Learned.
Notes against the estate included ones to Tinker & Beckwith, B.F. & I. Beckwith, and John L. Beckwith
